Pretty sure that those toe rod ends are shorter than stock so they will not allow more thread engagement.

      EL_DC5: Just add more camber.

iis it one of those things that makes dc5 just weird..

prolly to do with the McPherson struct system when -ve camber is added it car toes in or something.. which will give you more thread to go back?

i think thats right..tom will prolly confirm

To some degree yes, because of our super awesome strut suspension and the fact that the steering rack and arms are waaayyy above the LCA we get significant changes in toe with height and leaning in the strut with more camber can make significant differences to toe.

I have seen DC5s have camber limited because they run out of toe adjustment, with the tie rod end bottoming out on the tie rod. This happened to me at -5 camber but I have heard of it happening at much lower values of negative camber with different coilovers.

I was dead serious. What is your camber setting at the moment?

Tom is indeed right. The Akom racing inverted tie rod ends are indeed shorter then stock which is the reason why you can gain more negative camber.

So going by I assume you can gain more thread engagement by putting on more camber but depending on how much thread you want to gain you might end up with some crazy camber setting.

How many mm of thread engagement do you have at the moment?

What is your front camber? If it is anything less than -2.5 degrees add more. The effect on your tyre wear will be negligible if you get to zero toe.

                              add more camber bro.

i had to do it with my coilovers with the stock tie rod and, i think in the us they run minimum -2 with the akoms. (with the n+)
