    Something new in terms of ram air intakes for dc5

    Saw this today, pretty interesting, needs major work but dont know maybe if u r building a race car or chasing some extravagent amount of power.

    nice find.....

    hydrolock would be a big issue though

      wow. that is absolutely awesome.

      im not sure if hydrolock would be an issue. look at this picture 12 (bottom right). the position of the filter is pretty high. you won't hydrolock even if the filter element is half submerged.

      that's such a cool setup. there's even room for the oil cooler to sit on top of the air filter and next to the radiator.

        I had a look at this setup a month ago.

        It will cost you quite alot for this setup and apparently IPS reckoned the gain will be similar or possibly more than ITB

          can't be worst than that ITR with that big silverbell on the front of it.... that was posted not long ago.. hehe

          also is it me or those those ports look small??

            would the car stil run without the manifold?

            or are ppl scared that dirt/bugs/water might get into it.
            obviously turbo is faster than vtec
