thanks for the offer dave... but im picking the car up tomorrow... and will be bringing it to honda since they are very close to the smash repairer... let them check wat is wrong with it... thought that i dont have to hassle u dave...

but from what i heard about honda staffs... honda wouldnt know wat to do... so im being very indecisive....

      1) bring to honda in the morning (not too sure if they know wat to do)
      2) wait till night and maybe bring it to your place dave? (hassle??)
      3) drive all the way to adrians workshop (scared something might blow up? LOL)

honda will charge you $XXX to look at it...

if you dont mind that that is your best option.

but i can look at it on sunday if you can wait that long...

just don't push the car - no WOT operation untill it is cleared...

possibly, BUT maybe the oxygen sensor is NOW stuffed due to it running rich...

maybe still need to find out WHY it is running rich!!!

              no-way due to theft!

i still reckon it IS simple!

was the old ECU stored in a cool dry place? it might have been damaged soemhow?

we/you can test by swapping in a working ECU...

but Honda should be able to tell if the ECU is stuffed, just by plugging it into the computer...
