Decisions, decisions - which coilover to get?

Hi Guys

There's been a lot of discussions on coilovers recently. Please delete this thread if it's too getting repetitive.

I'm looking at getting coilovers for my DC2R soon. Just narrowed it down to 2 now:

1. Cusco Zero2
2. Tein Monoflex

I have asked around and have found that the Tein Monoflex is stiffer. What are your opinons on both. My car is used as a daily and I take it to the track every 2-3 months.

The prices are similar for both. Which ones to get. Please give you opinons and experiences with these coilovers!

I have MonoFlex on my dc2 - they are fantastic.

Although i can't compare to Cusco, what i can tell you is that they are great for the street due to the MSV (micro speed valve - which makes longer strokes softer (i.e street driving) and the short, quick strokes (i.e track driving) very stiff and balanced.

The car is very predictable now, and can be driven on the street with ease.

Have you thought about Zeal fuction Xs, or X coilovers. I have seen that they are a very good price from www.perfectrun.com.au

Hey Rix, yeah I'm getting quotes for the Zeal Functions X - which model of the Zeals did you get? How are u finding them compared to the BC RSD?

Personally, i found the BC RSD's hell for a daily.

WAY too harsh for me on the hwy. On good roads they are fine though, made the car handle a lot better over stock.

Been told the cusco zero2's are nice and comfy. Even more then the n+
