      I have seen cable ties work with no ill effects. Use some fairly fat ones.

        USe cable ties.

        Im using same coilovers with same issue.

        been fine for a year now.

              the method i employ (and recommend) is getting large 50-60mm ID s.steel hose clamps (roughly size of radiator hose)

              undo all the way, put around shock base, put the actual clamp through the P clip and then tighten...

              i have been fine for over TWO years now... and competed this way.

              cable ties are .......

                    they are PLOT lines... but quite second hand...

                    i am going to replace them (front only) soon as i am concerned at the ingress of dirt near the ferrule...

                    probly getting Agency Power ones from around 100 bucks... you want a set?
