    Fuel Economy DC2R?

Just wondering how the DC2R is on fuel, how big is the tank and how many km's do you get generally out of highway or city driving?? Any mods which change how much fuel the car eats by a great deal?? Please discuss, thanks

    Stock except filter and catback...
    Average 450km per tank...I think size is 50L ?

It's much better to give an average litre usage per 100kms.

My dc2r used to use 8.4L per 100km.

      My dc5r uses roughly 10L per 100km.

      My s15 uses approximately 10.8L per 100km.

Of course, mods and tuning make a big difference

                  I always use 98 RON...
I am not a slow driver and like the occasional VTEC... never a drive without VTEC, and I like to get in front of people...

Always get minimum 550km and the level is dipping below the line with the petrol light on, and when I fill up its only usually 45L, and I know the tank is 50L, so I can get 600kms if I wanted to push it...

I calculated it to be an average 8L/100km

8L/100km sounds pretty decent, is the car noisy at all during long drives?

you get used to the "loud" engine noise...
when you first get the car, its loud and noisy...
now its just music to my ears...

an ECU is nether good or bad - only the tuner is good or bad,

if you have a ECU that causes bad fuel economy, get it re-tuned, as your tuner is either ignorant or just lazy...

Car is not noisey...well it might be when you first purchase the car as you won't be used to having no sound deadening...but you'll get used to it

8L is very good, I'm happy with mine (around 10L) but I forgot to say that I also have 4-1 headers, high flow cat (metal 2.5"), custom 2.5" catback and apexi air intake so I think all of that adds a bit extra.
