Could probably have squeezed 1.5-1.75 at absolute best maintaining 0 toe.
I chose 0 toe because i do a lot of freeway driving and dont want my tires to die quick.
i only track very occasionally so its not a huge deal.
Oh sorry i should have made myself more clear . I wanted to know how much more negative camber you thought you could get before the tie rod ends bottomed out on the tie rods? Your response implies you still had heaps of toe out adjustment though which suggests that you could go significantly more negative in your camber setting .
I ask this because I have heard of members bottoming out the tie rod ends when trying to get negative camber and zero toe (myself included) and I was wondering if your problems with the tie rods being too short was a result of the design of the steering arms on the coilovers. Negative camber gets you chicks I hear .
Do it, and just add camber until you are happy with your toe adjustability . I would be interested to see how others with different coilover setups go with these tie rod ends.
steves on HA's so he'll be fine. TEIN has a very high steering arm in comparison to the Zeals.
Yup, i reckon i couldve squeezed a tonne of camber out of the stock tie rod ends with this suspension, just how much i have no idea. I misread your post, oops.
For those interested I am able to organise more AKOM inverted tie rod ends and steering brackets over. Will probally be now able to get the same price regardless of how many I buy due to last gb.
PM to let me know who is interested.
