fact 95% of the people who are actually serious about turbo charging their car would not generally ask a forum, if they were serious it would cause a insane riot of internet mechanics, forum moderators and Ecu resellers

i aint a ozhonda advocate, but they have alot of technical info over there.
If you have an issue with turbos, tuning, setups its more likily someone will provide you an answer very quickly. As said, you might need to SIF through some rubbish. (Just like building a b20)
If it wasnt for forums such as ozhonda, honda-tech etc etc, there would be 1/2 the number of turbo hondas on the streets.Last edited by BlitZ; 17-04-08, 01:25 PM.

FACT : Turbo honda are limited to boost.. if you want more power you cannot simply upgrade a few bolt ons and pump up the boost.
Myth? I have seen the below issue with a mates car in the passenger seat.. It is very setup reliant
I am wonderig for those who have tracked honda turbos... When u are on and off throttle does the car tend to rock more off throttle as the the engine is just vacumming? And when throttle is reapplied would you be in the meat of the torque cause wheel spin?.Last edited by BlitZ; 17-04-08, 01:37 PM.

People who actually want to do this project for whatever reason dont need convincing..
if they needed convincing.. it doesnt sound like something they are 100% wanting to do.
most people who actually do get to the stage of finishing their project had friends that previously owned one or have experience in one (my point is its usually information from outside a forum)
turbo honda Myths are just that Myths. its no point trying to disprove it.. its like rumors it still spreads..
me 2 cents ^_^
I must be part of the 5% then.
- Turbo Hondas do not handle well, being FWD, they break traction, unsettle the car etc.
Mine breaks traction pretty bad. Getting semis and LSD to overcome this issue

Wheelspin happens in 1st and 2nd gears, 3rd too in the wet, not too bad in the dry if your careful with the clutch but in the wet its like good luck trying to take off without wheelspin.

mate of mine has a turbo civic, it was all done internally with decomp pistons and the works. ecu tuned to 7psi.
Had ridiculous acceleration but my dc5r would catch it after 120kays.
Put the boost up to 1 bar and the thing is a rocket.
unstable handling though.sigpicCurrent holder of the Win folder.

You want FI - go buy the many other cars that are designed from factory for boost.
The beauty of Honda's is that they're N/A and rev ridiculously high.
This is opinion not FACT (before anybody rips me)
