    More power!

    Hey all!
I have been having many different thoughts about my DC2R lately and just want everyones input...
I want to modify but i have NO idea what to do. Atm it only has exhaust and is lowered. I only drive it on the street... never been on a track and as much as i would want to i don't think i would. My main aim is more power, i have read up on the JR Supercharger and the ARC Kit... does anyone have any first hand experience with these mods???
I know the DC2R is perfect as is but i can't help the need for more power!
I am open to ALL suggestions!

    how much power u want?

Eg if your after 10 kw gains or max of 20 kw gains it be just bolt ons like extractors and intake and exhaust.. in all seriousness i think you only really net 10kw from all 3 im not sure ..

but anything more than that u goto do some pretty big things already....

Full exhaust; mugen airbox; ECU tune & Dyno should yield approx 30 extra KW over stock.

If thats not enough start mucking around with the internals - CAMS, Valve springs, higher RPM limit etc.

My 2 cents - keep the car Naturally aspirated; thats what it was designed for and what makes it unique.

If you want just hard power - you'd might be better off with an EVO, STI or SKYLINE with a 4X4 system to get the turbo power down.

          mm .. ok...

u do know a supercharger is a form of forced induction?

technically speaking a supercharger is a type of turbo charger.. and it really just comes down to the tuner?

but since u think forced induction is no good..

how much money u got? because.. NA power is an expensive path to chase..

forced induction is the only way to satisfy your desire.

turbo is better than SC for this purpose.

$6k is a nice bolt on kit, probly see a reliable 150kW for this price

for $10k you could be in the 200kW+ realm...

mm lets break down how far 6g will get you NA..

Toda headers for the b series run for about about 1.2k?
lets go a nice exhaust.. mm i dunno.. 1k lets say..
                        intake muugen? 800 bucks
Ecu.. i assume hondata or as expensive as autronic 1k - 2.5k
tuning.. i say for most people u get away with 800 bucks of a good tuners time..

thats most of your money gone already for your "30kw"...

my poiint is.. you want big power NA.. you need more money.. but then again people put down impressive times with such mods..

6k huh... id probably go for a good combo of intake, headers, exhaust for that extra kick.
Spend a bit on some quality coils - doesnt add power, but it helps get the power to the ground, thus making ur car quicker.
