DC2R caliper size - JDM VS AUDM

    Hi guys,

Are AUDM DC2R front and rear Caliper sizes the same as JDM DC2R ('98 spec) caliper sizes.

Question is, would pads that suit JDM DC2R calipers 100% fit AUDM DC2R calipers?

    - Rix.

pads from JDM like endless and they fit AUDM calipers fine. don't they?

surely a member of ClubITR would not even have to ask such a question...

I was just confirming. I thought this might be the case.

I had my suspitions about the fronts, but will the rears fit?

you do know the JDM DC2ITR and AUDM DC2ITR are virtually the same?

the subtle differences that do exist between them lie mostly in the engine bay...

Yeah, i'm aware that they are very similar. But I know the size of the brakes changed etc. I thought the front were the same - but just want to confirm if the rears are before I order a set of Brake pads.

i was not aware the size of the brakes changed on DC2?

are the JDM discs 282mm front and 260mm rear?

i have used JDM pads on my car - ENDLESS ones...

I'm quite sure the rotor size changed from 96 - 98 spec JDM ITR. Not sure of Calipers - hence point of this thread.

I am using Endless pads in my Spork calipers now,

But want to run CC-M in the rear, but NFI if they will fit.

AUDM DC2R is 98 JDM spec, not 96 JDM spec...

                    hence the same.

rotor PCD changed, but i didn't realise the diameter changed also?

                        I thought it did?

Because they did a brake test in BMI, 96 spec vs 98 spec. and 98 spec braked quicker because I recall them mentioning larger rotor size.

                          still, AUDM DC2R = 98+ JDM DC2R brakes.

Ok so 100%, JDM 98 spec pads will fit front and rear?

maybe wait for someone else to confirm - but I seriously always thought AUDM = 98+ JDM brakes...
