    gas pedal adjustment.

I am finding my gas pedal too deep at its intital position..
has anyone adjusted their pedal height to bring it closer away from the foot well...
This is for a dc2r... I am looking at a 2 cm difference.
    possible methods??

    cheers.

u r having trouble heel and toe right?

get the jdm metal option pedals and you will be fine. many can vouch that after this swap its pretty similar to dc5r pedal configuration

I had the same prob with my old car, but i never thought of actually of replacing the pedal altogether... that would have saved me alot of trouble.. haha

i bought those set of cheapy aluminium pedals at SuperCheap Auto, found a piece of wood, roughly 2cmx4cm (ish), and jammed the piece of wood in between the stock pedal and the aluminium pedal, and used... those plastic wire thingy (if i remember the name of it, i'll edit the post) to secure everything together, worked like a charm

      heel and toe baby!! hehe

replacing the complete pedal set is quite frustrating. i have some ek9 pedals in my car. i had to remove part of my dash. to get more room, its desirable to remove your driver seat to get more room also, you need to bleed your brakes to install the brake pedal, as i find the pressure is very hard to install it wihtout bleeding. just remember to chuck all your washers onto the new set of jdmR pedals as it wont feel as good

as to adjusting the existing pedal, you might want to play around with your acelerator cable and adjust the screw that will change the idle point.

If you're having trouble heel-toeing then I suggest you practice some more at a slow approach speed to corners with late braking.

That will give you the hang of it.

I'm told its not possible to adjust. Either to adjust the accelerator or the brake pedal to level it off. A number of members have tried.

i want my pedals the same height too. they are so far apart. might just put an aftermarket pedal on the accelerator.
