    Injector Clean

Ok so a few years back my step dad had a 1999 S2000.

He bought it second hand with I think 45K on the clock.

He drove it till about 60K and was searching for more power.

His mechanic suggested an injector clean.

The car improved dramatically - VTEC much stronger and more power throughout the rev range.

Wondering if anybody has done it to their DC2R?

    Have you felt a difference?

Mine is stock with 105K on the clock.

Mechanic said he would do all 4 out of the car for $60

jumping to conclusions is risky business!

moreso than the injector cleaning business...

but for only 60 bucks you better check they are doing it properly...

or is it $60 per injector?

Hmmm so I guess fuel does make a diff.

I havent put anything less than 98 in it and have a fresh fuel filter in it.

Previous owners though I dont know about...

Yeah will give it a go - at $60 why not.

Will let you know how it goes.

Ps; is it true that Honda injectors flow so much more than say a Holden V8's injectors?

If it is then thats so cool!

              YEAH 78.333Kw/Litre Of N/A Power!!!

that big 6L B&S V8 cant burn to much fuel at once with its Pig nose combustion chambers, but because there 8 Piglets they stile get worse fuel econ then a fast4
