Hi all,
I am currently away in Singapore on a internship program and I have left my DC5R in the backyard at home. The car has been sitting in the backyard and hasn't been driven since the beginning of December.
My little niece promised me that she would start up the engine once a week but of course she didn't.
Anyways, moments ago my uncle called and told me that the R is having trouble idling properly, as though there is someone applying gas and then letting it go constantly. He consulted his mechanic and was told that it may have be something wrong with the throttle body, possibly moisturer inside seeing that its been raining a hell of alot in sydney lately. If thats the case, the mechanic suggested he may need to clean or repair it.
Can someone give me a little insight on this problem? Is it expensive to fix?
thanks all.
