brake lights not working on dc2

    Hey guys
need some help with this issue
today while i was driving, my friend told me my brake lights didnt work.
everything else on the car works, like interior lights, the headlights reverse lights. even the normal lights at the rear when i turn the headlights on. its only the brakes.

Is there a brake light fuse or is that fuse the same as the horn fuse?

    please help.

all ur bulbs may be blown, check them too. if the lights turn on when you turn the lights on then the 2nd filament may be blown.

i checked the engine bay fuse. the horn fuse is broken but then my horn has never worked. i will try get a 20amp fuse to replace the horn one and see if the brake lights work.

i guess the most obvious thing is always the first to be overlooked.
            ill have a look.
thing is the centre brake at the back is not working either so thats why i thought it might of been a fuse. >.<

well it is possible u had a bit of a surge that hit the tail lights and blew them all.

Be carefull u dont want to be one of those idiots with no brake lights. Could possibly be very costly.

Oh and check to see your brake pedal is all good, im not sure how it works but there must be a contact point for it u can check.

But take the easy route change a bulb first. Or take one out and reinstall it. I have had bulbs that i installed and they were not put in correctly so it didn't work.

jeez man, you car sounds like defect city!!!

but looks like that 20A fuse is for both horn + brake lights on the USDM DC2
