So since this R1 is an over-axle muffler. Could it be said that it would be destroyed easilly or would it be fine for everyday driving.

obiviously depends on how low your car is, how careful of a driver you are, where do you drive

u will find however that the parts of a exhuast that scrapes are near the cat of the bpipe or the muffler. Its very hard to scrape the axle areas unless u are mentally retarded

Jing is right ... It's always the b-pipe/catalytic area that has contact on a over axle setup. While an under axle setup will include the muffler/tip area as well. Over axle is better - while harder to engineer to net gains, under axle is easier for construction and attain gains in comparison to an over axle setup. On NA it's a big deal when dealing with single digit kW numbers.

So do you guys think that the R1 would be safe on the street as long as i dont drive like retard. (IE, being carful going over speed bumps and so on...)

u should be fine. I see exhuasts as wear and tear items anyways, if you were really anal, you would replace it one ever few years to obtain maximum effiiency. That is ultimate analness though, lol ...

I haven't seen an Amuse pipes on Hondas having clearance with cars running 45-50mm all rounded ride heights. Can't say the same for many other generic loud branders though.

Man I would never get that exhaust, I can't imagine what it would feel like to pay 2 grand for that thing and have it snap on me.

At least stainless steal can be welded back together easily, Titanium has to welded in an Argon or bathtub environment, which i'd imagine would be very expensive and hard to find someone to do it.

                  So many better alternatives
