Header Poll

I'll be looking at getting new headers in the next month or two.

Currently i've came down to two options:

1. Toda 4-2-1
2. Buddyclub 4-2-1

Just thought i'd get opinions on which ones i should go for.

Car is DC2R

I'll welcome any ideas and thoughts...

All three headers are great headers though I only have experienced the toda 4-2-1 header and I absolutely love it. Revs a lot quicker to redline and a lot more responsive. I gained 12.3 kw ATW in conjunction with TPA cat and my catback exhaust on Adrian's (TODA AU) dyno. I experienced gains from about 3400rpm and big gains from 6000rpm to redline. Workmanship of the header is also excellent. Well that's my 2 cents. I'm sure you'll love any of the 3 headers.

The Toda 4-2-1, I've heard good reports on them. I'm running Fujitsbo 4-2-1 headers on DC2R running to a RM01A exhaust. Had good gains after a tune with AVCR installed.

What exhaust are you running or planning to install with the headers? Also have a look at the Fujitsubo headers as well when choosing extractors for your DC2R.

AVCR? Isn't that a boost controller?

I currently have a HKS Silent Hi-Power exhaust.

Are the BC < OR = TODA Headers, are there any benchmarks out there on the same car same zaust

Try not to be limited to only these 2 set of headers. There are heaps better headers out their especially in the states. Have a look at SMSP or RMF.

i've found a place that can get Fujitsubo headers relatively cheap.

Are these really worth looking at?

I'd look at the Hytech 4-2-1's, apparently Buddy Club made a replica of it.

I've heard really great things about Maximworks & Toda headers for DC2R.

I've heard people talk a lot of crap, about 5zigen & Buddy club headers, But I've got nothing to back that up.

IMO, i would just go for Toda Headers.

Alot of people use TODA headers for DC5R and have not complained from wot Ive seen.

Well depends.... we had both headers.

Advantage with toda is that it bolts up to the stock system with little modification. While BC the exhaust needs to hacked up shorten and etc.

Just like fatboyz said with BC u need to do a few modifications to make it fit. I was running TODA headers with mugen twin loop cat back everything bolts up.
