HID bulb replacement

Hi Guys,

One of the HID bulbs in my car blew and was wondering if I have to replace the whole kit or do I just have to replace the bulb?

Also would any of you happen to know of anyone in melboure who sells the bulbs at a good price?

Would like to hear from anyone who have experienced this before and what they have done to fix this.

You should be able to replace just the bulb.
Is this those H1 etc HID kits? or do you actually have a D2R etc burner?

If you want an even distributed color/lighting output, make sure you replacement both at the same time. HID bulbs changes color over-time regardless of usage period, and one will appear to have a different color output even if they are on the same K rating.

yup I am running h4s at the moment

I was quoted around 150 for the pair and was wondering if it would be more sensible just to change the whole system as they are pretty cheap now???

Also are there any specific bulb brands that I should look for?

just change the bulbs.....i've used mtec replacement bulbs for a while adn it's workign just fine
