A new contestant to the 150KW N/A Club

Congrats to Kookie to surpass the 150KW N/A benchmark with flying colours.

The end result of 160.5 KW , This sets a new benchmark for other DC5's to follow.

Found this on the Kookie's Blog.

Hope he doesn't mind to share the results with other CITR members

                          Review on KPRO

Well my car does feel completely different much smoother power delivery and much more power. VTEC kicks in at ~4500 (if you couldn't tell) and let me tell you it gets very loud in the cabin with my setup.

My af is perfectly straight goes from 13.4-13.6 at wot very smooth. Miss the VTEC crossover sound so I think I'm not making power, but when I pass cars I know the power is there.

I'm a very happy camper with the tune. Just need to get some power figures for power at the wheel so you can see.

Of couse not, I am not qualified in any shape or form to do be a tuner. I am just the average bloke next door who likes to click on the forums to search!

As Adrian from Toda Racing has pointed out that the KPRO is such a "complex" engine managment system therefore requires professional (EFI Tuning Specialist) more so with the complex VTEC mechanism found in the Honda's you would need a few years of in tuning variable cams vehicles to be able to master the Hondata ECU since it's so complex.

What Kookie has done is the right thing, He carefully selected Official Hondata distributor, Hondatech as the chosen professional in tuning such a complex Hondata KPRO to the maximum performance.

more like i didn't have time and cops in Melb, well you know. Out of 10 wot runs I only got 1 cos there were cops waiting

                              But still learnt heaps.
