    Headunit problems.

    Hey guys,

I took out my old HU from my DC5R and put on a new one. Since the plugs fit to my new deck i tried putting it in. Didn't turn on.

So i tried wiring it up to the ones provided with the new HU. Didn't work.

I noticed that now my Central locking doesn't work and when I open my door with the key still inside, it doesn't make that beeping sound.

Sometimes when I turn my car on, the gauge goes up to 45000 rpm (doesn't actualy rev) and comes down..

    Uh-oh =[ Any suggestions?

check fuse. Also you might have fucked up some other things if it rev's to 4500, take your car to an auto electrician or back to honda

Fixed but you didn't say how? Might be useful to others?

That idling thing, no idea. Maybe because the fuse blew up

I found that if you disconnect the battery and reconnect it, the Automatic power window feature doesn't work. You've got to wind it down and up and hold it for 2 seconds (in the manual).

I changed the fuse, went through each one and replaced it and everything works fine.
