question about offset

hey itr luvers

i got a set of rims lieing around under the house and they got the ride stud pattern at 16" looking good for a set of track rims if i buy these semis someones offered me. but the offset is +55
is this ofset going to be a problem or will i need spacers or what? ofset always confuses me. i have dc2r with stock calipers.

new rims are 16 x 6.5 +55
current 15 x 6 +42

stock offset is 42 these 55 hmm
so basicly i need 4milimeter spacer?
