wierd starting pattern

ok my car starts now...

now its doing something funny

when I put the key to accesories it flashes the ahzards for two clicks really quickly .. as if the car had just been locked and makes the beep noise...
the red light near the gear stick also continues to flash whilst the car is on...

this seems to not affect the operation of the car.. but its scares the crap outta me...

did the pin test/ecu code test ...no probs...

any ideas?

I too had problems with my car starting.
Honda says its the alarm.
Alarm ppl says it was honda.

Freaked me out, alarm was flashing then engine mobi kicked in, car was dead 2 secs later.

Everything is fine now ... just spooked if it happens again. Worst thing was I put my driver's side window down to say goodbye etc. Car died and no electronics worked! Window would not go up and it looked like it was gonna rain!

Lucky I had someones garage to store it till it got towed to Honda. Very strange problem indeed!

Could always try disconnecting the alarm system, and letting it reset itself. Or just pull the fuse on it if it has one.
