Gruppe-M Intake on Type S

Hay Guys,
Wanting to purchase a Gruppe-M Intake for my DC5S. The intake is currently fitted to a DC5R, wanting to know if there's any issues installing this? (main concern is strut brace clearness as the S runs a different strut brace to the R)

i dont think it would be likely to clear the struct brace on a type-s as gruppe-m has specifically design intake for both the pre-facelift and faclifted dc5 model.

Yupe, you must buy the new gruppem intake for the facelift version.

Yes i thought that might be the case, is the only change to accommodate the strut brace? i.e if i remove the strut brace will it fit?

yeah it will fit with a different front strut bar.
