yeah the calculators are a bit iffy
because some of the e.g. the cspeed racing .. doesnt take into account the extra height of the PCT piston ..
im pretty sure that the comp ratio is in the vicinity of 12.3 -12.5
by dropping a set of b16b pistons into an itr block .. all other things equal ..

true, however the b18c5 is a step behind b18c7 in terms of piston height,..

piston to valve clearance shouldnt be much of an issue..
nevertheless it will be checked as you would always do when having installing non orginal internals.

                calculate it yourself =)

                stolen from HT

Compression ratio: Volume of the cylinder, piston dish and head dish and
headgasket from top to bottom of the stroke, divided by the head, piston,
                and headgasket volume or:

                bore(in.) x bore(in.) =__ x .7854 =__ x stroke (in.) =__/ .061=__cc of
cylinder + (head cc +piston cc + headgasket cc) / (head cc+ piston
                cc+headgasket cc) = compression ratio

                      hehe contemplation?

well if u r planning to get ctr pistons
definitely go oversize and have the block honed
or else you may have major issues afterwards..
                      the rings wont seal
u will lose comp, burn oil
                      blah blh blah

just for future reference.. and for the guys who are less techy..
the stock b18/b16 bore is 81mm
if u go oversize u get a 81.25 ctr oversize piston and bore your block out to 81.25 to match ..

that way u get a fresh seal =)

But im planning to get it hand honed as required.. and nothing over std bore... makes me think... now
