    [HELP!!] Possible ABS problem causing problem starting

    For the past few days I've been getting wierd noises coming out of the engine bay. Happened 3 times, and I thought it was only a minor problem.

    Until this afternoon when I tried to start it, it made that same noise. I tried starting again and now my car wont start, continue to make that noise everytime I attempted to start the car.

    It's coming out of the ABS unit, and I have no clue what's wrong with it.
    I need to get my car running as I have to drive to uni tomorrow.

    When I start the car and it does the engine check, the ABS light comes on and off immediately, whereas before it would be on for at least 2-3 seconds.

    The ABS light would play around, along with the SRS light. The SRS light would stay on for 5 or so seconds, longer than usual.

    I've got the sound recording and video recordings but trying to find a way to convert the files.

    Can anyone tell me what the problem is?

    Will try put the recordings up ASAP.

    Here's the video recording of the light on the dash.

    The orange light on the right is the ABS light, the SRS light did not come on.
    The ABS light would flash softly simultaneously with the noise of the ABS unit.

      1. check the fuses;
      2. check all the other fuses;
      3. jump the service connector with a paper clip and turn the ignition on and count the times the ABS light flashes...

        No blown fuses.
        What do I do with number 3? not too familiar with that.

          Ok got the ABS light flashes

          It's

          16 Rear Right - Wheel Sensor (electrical noise/intermittent interruption)

          and

          81 Central Processing Unit (CPU)

          What am I supposed to do now?

            check the right rear wheel sensor - see if it is there or if it is damaged...

            it should be small and low and obvious once the wheel is off...

            code 81 = bad... it might mean the ABS ECU is farked...

            only Honda will be able to diagnose this... or maybe a really high tech brake specialist...?

              F*ck, how do I temporarily turn off the ABS, because it seems the car wont start with this ABS problem. I really need the car.

              Which fuse do I pull off to temporarily turn it off?

                from the fuse box near the air intake:

                try removing the 10A fuse first, then try starting,

                then try the 20A fuse, then try starting...

                  Maybe you shouldn't drive your car to prevent any further problems from arising...

                    Same thing, I've removed all 3 fuses and it's still causing the same problem, making that annoying sound.

                      it should not prevent the car from starting the car either - so you might have a flat battery too...

                      so charge it up or use a known good battery to test start it!

                        OK I'll get it charged.

                        I took all the fuse out, it's stilll making that nasty noise though?

                              is your car driveable? try to drives @60 km and hit the brake to see if the ABS is still working? make sure there are no other car behind you.
