Your advice on valve adjustment please- B series

Hello,

Planning to attempt my first valve adjustment but don't have a torque wrench. So I wonder if anyone had rotated the motor via the aircon pulley instead of the crank pulley bolt to avoid re-torquing as mentioned in the service manual.

IIRC there was an ETCG video on YouTube where he rotated it with the P/S pulley, but I think he might have had the plugs out when doing that.

Shouldn't you be able to rotate the crank pulley bolt without re-torquing it or removing it to do the valve adjustment?
