Can the K20A2 compete with the JDM K20A from the EP3?

Hi eveeyone. I own a dc5r with the obvious k20a2 and im looking to either jump ship to the ep3 or just swap in a k20a if I can get one. I am just not sold on the ep3 looks. So is it possible to get the a2 up there with the JDM motor in terms of power and rev limit capabilities? And would it be very expensive to do so? My dc5 has got headers and an exhaust and was dyno'd at 180 which seems high but Yeh what else can be done to make it any better because I really want more out of it.

Ecu is the key to step the k20a2 up to the k20a. With good intake,Ecu and exhaust the k20a2 is as good or better than a stock k20a. Hondata or haltec are the best out there. Choose your ecu to suit your tuner and their preference. K20a2 will still rev to 8600rpm max on stock valve springs n/a.
