DC2R - Engine Bay Cleanup (Charcoal Canister)

    Hey guys,
Just wondering if anyone here thinks emmisions equipment is necessary for a daily driver car?

My buddy removed his charcoal canister from his MX5 in an effort to tidy up his engine bay and make working on his car easier.

    Thoughts?

Haha yeah, relatively serious. Not as serious as you may be taking it, but yes he did get an astounding amount of women after removing his charcoal canister :P

so we could probably move it out of the technical forum and into the general banter section?

oh, and the other notable necessity of the item in question is reducing hydrocarbon poisoning of occupants...

That's definitely an NA/NB MX5 thing to do.

Haha! I still have mine on my NB but the catch can vents to atmosphere so I smell that instead. That said, I usually drive with the top down anyway so...
