If anyone is interested or has the same problem, I have a 95' DC2 VTi-R and recently noticed a relatively loud creaking sound almost knocking sound coming from the front end (mainly front right). Was mostly at low speed cornering over bumps or rough surfaces, going up and down my driveway etc.
Checked + tightened if necessary:
Coilovers
Camber arms
CV joints (looked to be in good condition/boots weren't ripped etc)
All ball joints/bushes/endlinks (sprayed WD40 in all bushes, endlinks, ball joints)
Made sure every bolt I could find was tight
Took the car in today for it's 200,000 km service and the mechanic calls me later in the day saying that my front subframe the bolts on the right side were loose... So that has likely fixed the problem but will update tomorrow when I get the car back. Hope that helps anyone who might have similar problems!
