DC2R - Interior Fuse Cover Sag

    Hi guys,

My DC2R is suffering from the infamous interior fuse cover sag problem.

It seems to be a pretty common problem but there's no real definite answer on how to fix it online.

Here is the same problem in a thread on Ozhonda:

Any DC2R owners know of a fix? I've tried pushing it and fiddling with it and it'll stay good for about 30 seconds then sag again

    Thanks in advanced.

How did you go with that Tom? Did you try bending the clips?

I tried fidling around but to no avail

If anyone has a step by step tutorial fix, that'd be great!

This is my fourth DC2 and the only one which hasn't sagged! I think your only solution is to buy/bend clips until they hold, or buy a new trim piece as it has distorted over the past 15+ years.

I'm fortunate enough to only have the fuse cover drop when I hit VTEC haha

FWIW I have blue tacked all the clipping points and top flat area of the fuse cover panel and re-attached. It's been about a fortnight with no sag. Good enough for now.

Hating life. My fuse cover sat properly but I wanted to know what the fuss was about and opened it..

Lo and behold it sags now, however just on the right side. I feel the clip on my right side has snapped since the length is shorter than the left. Amazing
