Directing air to air intake

Basically I am wondering if directing air into my air intake will be more beneficial?

This is my current set up:


If I was to direct air from the front of the car using say that corrugated drain piping (from low down on the bumper or even behind it - radiator position depending) to practically right up next to the air filter would this help in anyway? Probably sounds like a stupid question... haha

probably a help little bit, but not much....

a proper CAI would be much better...

in fact, the OEM snorkle and airbox set up would be better than a short ram like you have...
