JDM hid headlights

Hi guys, i've been reading some mixed opinions in regards to fitting jdm hid headlights onto the audm dc5. Some are saying its plug and play directly others are saying alot of work is required to redo to connectors...

Can anyone who has an AUDM dc5 with JDM hid headlights confirm either statements?

Really hate the halogens and have always had oem HID headlights, what globes would give similar light output in terms of brightness (not necessarily colour/temperature)?

It is not plug and play... Because different plug. But you can do connection very easily... When you see it, you know... Whoever say a lot of work is obviously does not own one.
