DC5S Suspension and alignment setting Q's

Hey guys, I have recently installed a Vision rear camber kit, Spoon rear tie bar and Cusco rear sway bar (25mm) on my TypeS and got a wheel alignment done, and my specs are as follows

    front left camber: -1deg 08'
    toe: +0.4mm

    front right camber: -1deg 07'
    toe: +0.2mm

    rear left camber: -3deg 07'
    toe: +2.1mm

    rear right camber: -2deg 05'
    toe: +1.9mm

I'm fine with the front settings, maybe just half a -ve degree more front camber, but I think the rear should have less camber and less toe. The guys said they honestly didn't know the rear camber was adjustable and didn't know I had a rear camber kit. They suggested to run -1deg 05' rear camber, which sounds about right, but what are your thoughts?

What would be your expert suggestions on what settings to run?

do you track ur car? or just for street use?

ps. i find the auto x and road racing forum from clubrsx quite informative on suspension settings etc.

That's my Q too... what's the aim for your car? If mostly street, then negative 1.5 camber all round with
      1mm toe out Front.
      2mm Toe in Rear.

If more track, the go negative 3 camber all round and
      3mm toe out Front.
      4mm Toe in Rear.

Well that's what I do with my DC2R. These settings make it a bit more settled in the corners, but wander a bit more in the straights. Not a dramatic difference, but enough to notice. I don't have that much camber on my car as stock only allows -1 all round, but I do run those toe settings with no tyre wear issues.

since u already have a rear camber kit i would reduce the camber in the rear to -1 to -1.5

right now ur rear camber > front camber may give u a more understeery feel...

wat suspension u running? i would try to increase the neg camber in the front to -2 to -2.5 and 1 or 2 mm toe out in the front and neutral in the rear =p

ps i think u should get some spacers jeff, your rear wheels look quite tucked in =p

Yeah I should have stated what's the primary use of my car.
Its mainly for street right now, but I do like my twisties. (Not the packet of chips).

I went back to do a re-alignment to dial out my rear settings.
I ended up keeping the front settings and have around -1deg rear camber and +0.4mm toe in

I asked about setting front toe to -0.5mm but he suggested to keep it as is if i don't do too much track work.
I will do -ve toe on the front when i get pillow mounts for my Tein SS later on me thinks. Hopefully to run -2deg front with that setup.

Kieran: yeah i am doing some research on spacer at the moment, but the good ones are hella exy!

Went to read some thread in crsx and found out that good alignment setup will be like this :

            Camber Front = -1.5
            Camber Rear = -.75
Toe front = 1/32nd toe out
Toe Rear = 1/32nd toe in
Caster = as much positive caster as you can get...

            Have fun reading it.
