HELP: Idle goes up and down after not starting up for 2 weeks

Just came back from a 2 week holiday and decided to give my car a spin today. For some reason, when i stopped at a traffic light, the idle of the car keeps jumping from 3000 RPM down to 1500 RPM. its continuous until i take off but reoccurs when the car is stationary.

    How can I fix this?

    What car is this?

What mods do you have on the car?

    Is it tuned?

Maybe try clean your IACV (idle air control valve) using throttle body/brake cleaner/degreaser.

          +1

The IACV might be sticking, causing erractic idle

It could also be a vacuum leak. Had the same issue recently and found that the vacuum hose for one of the emisssions assist valves had come off.

9 times out of 10 it's this. The IACV tends to seize up if not used.
