    DC5 lowering and tie rods

Hey guys, so I'm planning on getting BC BR coilovers for my DC5 and I've been doing a lot of research in regards to the stock tie rods and lowering. From what I understand, due to the use of McPherson struts, changing height of the car will change toe settings and the stock tie rod has very limited adjustments which can prevent me from having 0 toe if I "slam" my car.

The problem is I'm having trouble finding information on how low/"slammed" I can go until it really becomes an issue. I've read that adding negative camber can help if I run out of thread to adjust the tie rod but can this be achieved without a camber kit? Will I be fine dropping my car 2-3 inches without any aftermarket tie rods and camber kits?

You'll be fine with a 2-3 inch drop especially on a dc5 consider how high they are stock. You should be able to lower it 2-3 inches and still have close to 0 toe, but you won't be able to get much camber with the stock tie rods as the more neg camber you have the less chance you have of getting the desired toe of 0. This is for the front axles only.
