titanium suspension

Has anyone heard or seen anything about aftermarket titanium DC2 suspension

i mean full coilovers or just springs

titanium is strong and light making it ideal for springs and anything else really that doesnt get too hot...

also, titanium springs have a much longer life than steel springs... they dont loose their "springyness" as easily as steel springs.

and ofcourse weight saving is your friend!

i only know of one company making titanium springs for the dc2r/dc5r: RS*R make them, called Ti2000. price wise they are about the same as other springs eg spoon or kgm.
for dc2r the rates are 5kg/mm (F) / 4.8kg/mm (R) and lower the car 20mm front and 25-30mm rear. (as a comparison u remember my car with spoon springs was 4.4kg/mm (F) and 2.5-4.4kg/mm (R), lowered 20mm.)

i dont know of any titanium coilovers. the lightweight ones are usually aluminium.

Forged aircraft spec aluminum are used for flagship - competition grade coilovers. It doesn't get anymore exotic at this stage.
