Difference between DC2R and DC2/4 Rear Trailing Arms

    Hi All,

I need to replace my rear trailing arms (well one anyway) and am trying to work out if the DC2R rear trailing arm is the same as a DC2/4 GSi/Vti one.

I understand the hub and brake is different, but wondering if the arm is the same, no wreckers in Sydney has any DC2R ones.

Can they be interchanged by swapping the hub and axle etc?

    Cheers

    Chris

perhaps then you could explain how it is relevant to the question and how this then helps OP ?

this would be in line with the reply rules of the technical forum, specifically rule 2 & 3:

The part numbers are different for the Type R vs. GSi/VTiR.
I would assume that they're different.

I've read from separate sources that the DC2 Type R hubs/trailing arms push the track out 5mm on all four corners, compared to VTI-R/GSi models.

Would you be able to compare the difference to confirm whether this is true or not?
