yup sleeping performance was spot on.i was about to buy the greddy kit so decided to email the guys about compatibility.this is what i god. SIGH
Hello Jeff,
I received the following information from GReddy USA.
Kind Regards,

Hi Alain,
Unfortunately, we have not tested our Turbo Kit onto the automatic RSX models. We do not have the data to confirm compatibility. With that being said, in the past we have tested turbo kits on older automatic vehicles. The outcomes were not favorable, one vehicle had shifting issues from the addition al torque. Another automatic vehicle had premature transmission failure from the added power and torque.

Thinking about this last night, I kept asking myself if the turbo is really what was needed.
Have you thought about simple n/a mods that focus on torque rather than peak power?
Some nice 4-2-1 headers, 2.5in exhaust and rbb intake manifold would work really well to give it midrange torqueSleeping Performance & Mechanical Repairs: Balance, Feedback, Response

i already have 2.5in exhaust piping+tanabe exhaust+injen cai.
i got 120kw in a DYNAPACK dyno.i dont remeber the torque. i think it was around 150 lb·ft.
how much do think i can make if i put on a header+hondata img+manifold.......and u give an agressive tune on 90ron {the fuel might be shitier than that}.

K20A3 = 120kW AT THE FLYWHEEL
this = 120kW * 0.2 for drive train loss = 96kW at the tyres
(no idea what dynapack reading would convert as, but dyno dynamics is real "at the tyres" reading)... retired/

With the combination we recommended, peak power is irrelevant. We are chasing highest average torque figures.
For stop start traffic style driving, having more useable torque on tap will make the car alot more fun to drive & the engine will respond instantly (vs waiting for a turbo to spool).
Also, Dynapaks will read on average 10-15% higher than roller dyno'sSleeping Performance & Mechanical Repairs: Balance, Feedback, Response

if i do go for a type r swap in the far future will the ktuner for my base auto still b useable?provided that i get it back to you and pay for for a type r ecu and you just swap the chip in?
also will the after market base header with catback fit the type r engine?
just checking if my options are still open if i go ahead with this. sorry for all these questions.
