EP3 gearbox in a DC5

Hey guys,

I've recently been told that an EP3 gearbox would be a good upgrade to my DC5R gearbox, supposedly because it has shorter gear ratios? i was also told that it would be a direct bolt on?

I am pretty sceptical, can someone confirm?

I remember reading somewhere that the speed sensor will be different between the dc5 and ep3 box since they run different tyre sizes from factory. Different tyre sizes may equate to different circumference of the tyre resulting in different speed reading.
