Upgrading to OEM JDM DC2R headlights (HID)

Hey all - I've just had a pair of OEM JDM HID headlights refurbished and ready to replace my current DB8 chrome version headlights which were used temporarily.

Just need some input on what the process is from swapping over non-HID JDM DC2 headlights to the OEM HID versions (96' spec?)?

I'm assuming it's not a PNP process so what needs to be modified to make the OEM HID headlights work?

Check the connections before you start. To see if they are plug and play. If not Cut the new plug off and solder , heat shrink it on.

        Thanks guys!
Cant believe it. Just finished it at 3:30am with no luck. Driver side HID isnt turning on so I think the ballast or bulb itself maybe faulty. LHS worked fine though.

Make sure the setup is properly earthed? Common cause for fail ignition

Checked everything from what I can see; we're taking it to a elec to fix it because I absolutely hate wiring lol.

Another issue is the ballasts interfere with a plug+washer bottle on the passenger side..

Try rotating the wires you soldered on. And double check your fuse in the engine bay.
