How to remove a threaded lug nut?

if it is cross-threaded, you will need it professionally repaired regardless...

Use brute strength and a breaker bar. It may be the case thats the nuts threaded not the stud. In which case your lucky. Put lug nuts on by hand not the impact wrench.
      And replace what evers stuffed

hopefully he's using (incorrectly) aluminium nuts and the thread is fine (but will need attention)...
