Absolute Noob question regarding stereo upgrade on DC5 Type S

Hey guys,
Just wondering do I need a dash kit at all for the Type S when going from Factory Head unit to Aftermarket Dual Din?

Or any particular wires I may need?

Sorry for the noob question but thought I better ask before I do.

hey pete, plenty of help on the forums and club-rsx

I did a double din install. Dash kits are ok, but some have questionable fit and quality and would need to come from the states. I just use the plastic that came with my headunit, and it looks ok in my opinion. If u have a look, some ppl have even used dvd cases and got awesome results. (as the stock headunit is slightly larger than single din.

otherwise harness is good so u dont have to cut up the factory one. I got mine off ebay for only a few buks.
