Tein Coilover problems

Hey guys, just want to get some thoughts about my coilovers.

I have Tein's SuperStreet coilovers on my DC5. They've covered about 5-7k KMs. The front right coil over started to make a "BANG" noise every time the car went over bumps. The coilovers are not set very low. My car is sitting 12CM off the ground. Hence there is also no signs of oil leaks.

1. What do you think the problem is ?
2. Is it worth getting them rebuilt or just purchasing new ones ?
3. Rough estimate of price for repairs ?

how do you know it is the coil over making a bang?

not the sway bar?

Hey Tinkerbell. I know this because I took off both front coilovers and put on the stock suspension and the noise was gone.
