Idle Adjustment - DC5R

can someone please tell me is there any other way of adjusting the idel for a DC5R other than tightening the throttle cable??? thanx

tightening throttle cable = dodgey

maybe you should ask a local mechanic?? or get a service manual (can you get these for DC5?)

yeah... nah, i read after i started this thread that appearantly the idle cant be adjusted in a K-series engine without an aftermarket ECU? i was just hoping someone could confirm that...

why do you want to adjust it?

if it has changed for no reason, you might have a problem...

i would also like to know how to adjust the idle.....as its playing up and i have been to a mechanic, they have cleaned my throttle body, tried a secondhand map sensor and some other thing. still idle plays up and idles at 1200 rpm....kinda worried
