    Titanium Gear

Hi, just wondering if anyone knows where to get one of these? It has the same model number as the normal Type R knob i think. Cant seem to find it. Might be from the EPR? havent called honda australia yet, but they most likely wont have it. Will it have problems fitting in dc5??

it may not be off any car. i've noticed that there are a few dressup parts that honda japan offer that don't come on their cars. i'm not sure if they're official optional accessories in their brochures or not but another part is the red "type r" honda badges for the odyssey. stephen (whtdc2) has them and they're gigantic! there certainly can't be any original type R model that they were intended for.
      almost JDM spec, y0!

couldnt it just be some aftermarket gear knob with a honda factory bolt?

There are quite a few gearknobs which look the same as dc5r

Honda P/N - 90310-ST7-Z00 indicated above is just for the gear knob locking nut. It isn't the part number for the particular gear knob.

Now, Honda has a genuine 6 speed true titanium gear knob for the S2000 but it does not come with the above flame treatment. While the flame treatment isn't exactly "unique", it can be achieved when a constant blowtouch is applied for a specific amount of time and then redone. That's probably how this gearknob came into effect.

And yes, it's severely overpriced and non justified. It's not that great of a knob, considering it's constructed properties.

god luck, I think Adam cab help whoever want this gearknob.

I prefer buying spoon or arc ti gear knob 4 similar price range.
