    ECU remap - DC5S

    Being an old school mechanic i'm a bit behind on EFI...
    Can a stock DC5S ECU be re-mapped????

    I believe so yes. Never tried it though.

      NT Performance here in melb say they can do it.. wasn't sure it was possible...

        Checked this out, by what they say i'll need a k-pro for what i want to do, NT didn't mention any such at all..

          From my knowledge it is not retuneable the stock ecu. You would need to get at least a piggy back system (one that ties onto the stock) or geta stand alone (like a kpro)
          Just going for a drive ~146.4kw~

            As our knobby friend says, it's obviously possible to re-flash the OEM 05-06 ECU with a different tune as Hondata do it. Whether anyone in Melbourne has the skills and equipment to do it I'm not sure. Probably overall easier to get an aftermarket programmable ECU so you're not locked in to using a particular tuner and you can always re-sell the ECU if you sell the car and recover some of your initial outlay.
