Help!! SRS Airbag light 02 EP3R

Hey guys,
The SRS light lit up on my dash last week and is still on! I've got the code diagnosed and it came up as

"01-01 Open or increased resistance in driver's airbag inflator"

Has anyone had the same experience and could possibly shed some light on my situation, not really in the mood to take it to Honda and fork out $$$$

Once the SRS light comes on, the only way to reset it is to go to a mechanic with a good OBD scanner. My light came on the ep3 too but it was because i changed the steering wheel and the resistor was faulty. I took it to top one and they ordered in a new one and fixed up the light for me.

I would check the connection and then trial the paperclip trick perhaps to reset the srs light?

Did you at all remove anything? I had a similar issue when I removes my driver side seat to get it reupholstered but once I reconnected the air bag and reset it usong the paperclip method, it didn't come back.

If you need any parts for this, i have JDM dc5r airbag components module seatbelts etc. So it may be the same.
