DC5 Trunk won't open! Help me :(

Hey guys, Im new to this forum as I just picked up a DC5, but for some reason my trunk wont open.. I think its the actuator thats broken. Any ideas how to replace it and where to the part from ?

Welcome! You'll have to remove the Plastics of the hatch inside and there you will see what your after. Best place would be a wreckers or gumtree. Few DC5's getting wrecked here and there so just a matter of some searching online.

THANKS ! Have you done this before ? And how much do you reckon I should pay for a used actuator ?

I've removed one before yes! TBH not sure on price maybe about 60bux?

Any DIY to get off the plastics from the hatch ? I've tried to remove it but to no avail..
