    Pre-facelift DC5R stock ride height

    Hi folks:
Is anyone still have idea about it, I bet not many, because all of us already lower our ride, Hehe....
By the way, I just get my new wheel and tyre fitted, but the rear wheel keep hitting on the guard during in the corner, finally, I set the rear camber up to 2.25 degree and the rear arm clear to swing. But I prefer lift up the car a bit rather than crazy camber setting.
Could anyone tell what is stock ride height at the front and rear please? I need them for the datum of the adjustment.
    Thank you very much.

Hey mate, I am not that kind of person to ask everybody around before I do the research.
The best ride height I found is RSX A-Spec model, but I need some detail very solid and not BS or guess.
Thank you for your productive advise anyway.

Try vget the workshop manual for your car. It will be your new Bible.

I could probably measure my stock suspension for you from the top plate to where the bolts go through. Idk if that will help. When i get some free time ill measure it.

Measured my height on stockies before I changed to Mugen ss. From top of tyre to arch was 70 mm. Or four fingers wide. Your choice

Lisa is a nut. She has a rubber butt. Everytime she turns around it goes putt putt.

If you need the absolute measure and accuracy, you are best off referring to the the bible (being the manual). Would be best bet.

Are you running coil overs?? Because if you are, you are best of just tinkering with the height of the rear until you stop scraping

Thank you for your help, but it is too complicate to figure the ride height anyway.

Hi Folks, I have got some update about my car's ride height issue, and need your opinion.
According to Tein SS-P recommendation, the ride height should be F:345 & R:340. ATM, my car ride height is F:340 R:335, with F:-1.5 & R:-2.24 camber due to I put 235/45/17 tyre on my car.
What you guys reckon about the setting? I just quite concern about too low.
                    Please give some input.
                    Cheers.

In terms of actual height vs recontamination, I wouldn't think too much on that. (Especially since you're so close to it anyway.)

                      235/45 is probably a bit too thick for a DC5, I run 235/40 for a nicer sidewall.

Also not many FWD run more camber at the rear vs front from a handling perspective, so maybe you can even that out too or increase your front.

But what are your wheel specs?

For more info on wheel fitment you can check out the Wheel Fitment Thread for pics and what others have used.

Thank you for your info. By the way, my wheel spec is R17x8JJ with 35 offset, I saw couple of example in the Wheel Fitment Thread exactly like my arrangement, I can even remember 1 of blue DC5S in my head with same size of wheel (Work) and tyre (RE070), he mention he doesn't need to roll guard to clear the rear wheel and guard, I suspect his car is not as low as mine and no chance cause them hit each other.
By the way, i am planning to lift up a bit with the rear coilover for 5mm, it will end up with 340mm ride height, hope the adjusted ride height can provide enough travel for the rear coilover, then I will adjust the rear camber to -1.5 or -1 to match the front end camber.

                        How is that sound?
