Hey sounds very interesting and possibly a great alternative to HID

do they still come out blue or are the standard colorish. Would be cool if they just stayed at the normal bulb temperture to not attract cops.

i would presume that anyone that stock polarg lights can get these in for you? People like srs auto or any normal importer should be able to do it too.

Jdmyard most likely will be able to easily too and might actually be cheaper then autojoy.

IPF (ARB) make HIR globes, it's a pretty major brand in the 4WD circle so you might want to see if IPF make a HIR globe in your globe style.

I had IPF HIR Globes in my old civic, they were awesome.
When one of them eventually blew I replaced it with a Mtec 100W bulb and the difference was huge.

Yeh sorry I didn't make it clear, the HIR Globes were alot better than the Mtec Halogens.

I tried asking around a few places in melbourne to get a replacement and no-one could get them.
The previous owner of my civic brought them back from HK.

Just depends if they come in the correct socket.

Call any ARB place and they should be able to tell you.

and anyone else for that matter - i am requestign a group buy quote from the guy in hte USA...

landed will be $185ish depending on the ex rate for 4 bulbs...

i am yet to check local 4WD places, like ARB

but $190 is cheaper than the Autojoy price (nervous about them, didnt seem to have a clue about these bulbs!)
