    Changing tranny oil

My question is would it be bad to have the driver side front slightly jacked so the front right tire can be removed to replace the tranny oil. The manual states to check oil levels on level surface, but nothing about changing the oil. But in doing this the tranny will also hold slightly more oil " due to the angle" and would make job easyer.

    Any input would be great!

Jack up corner of car to remove wheel, drain oil, lower the jack until the car is roughly level, re-fit drain plug, fill gearbox with correct amount of oil because car is level. Problem solved .

      Re: Changing tranny oil

I just go to full lock and get enough clearance to undo the plugs that way... therefore no need to worry about being level.
